What is Supervision across Professions?

According to Dr. Bobby Moore, “We are moving into a new era of supervision characterised by a capacity for crossprofessional practice based on philosophies of learning rather than particular professional practices.”  While Supervision has always been an integral part of Counselling and Psychotherapy, other helping professions such as teachers, social workers, support workers, nurses etc are starting to avail of Supervision to help them reflect and develop personally and professionally.  If you would like to know more about Group or Individual Supervision across Professions, get in touch!

Individual Supervision

Individual Supervision is a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space for Supervisees to reflect on their work, their clients and any blocks to progression they may be experiencing. With nearly 20 years experience of working with people in various different contexts of counselling, supervision, training, lecturing and clinical direction, Linda believes that if professionals are given the space to reflect, be vulnerable and work through any blocks or doubts, that they will feel empowered to find the best next steps to take within themselves.
